Accommodation and Welfare

We are pleased to be able to offer every CELTA participant accommodation for their four-week stay.  It is available from the Sunday before the course begins until the Saturday after. It is usually possible to arrange the accommodation for longer periods should you wish to stay longer or arrive earlier. We have a member of staff who takes care of all your accommodation needs.

  • Accommodation is available from the Sunday prior to the CELTA course to Saturday after the course (28 days)
  • Please note that accommodation is on a first come first served basis based on payment of fees

All options can be extended so that you can be accommodated for the period of the Czech Express option (simply add one week to your accommodation option costs). We reserve the right to alter course and accommodation prices in line with changes in the exchange rate.

OPTION A

Our flats are located to the south of the centre in an area called Prague 4. Connections by public transport (bus or metro) to both the training centre and the centre of Prague are good. We have a variety of flats/apartments available for trainees. They are as follows:
  1. Studio flat/apartment
    One room with kitchen area included.
  2. Flat/apartment for 2 trainees
    Two bedrooms plus kitchen.
  3. Flat/apartment for 3 trainees
    Three bedrooms, shared living area, separate kitchen, balcony.
The flats/apartments are furnished with the following:
Basic electrical equipment including washing machine, microwave oven (only #3), refrigerator, satellite television (only #3), vacuum cleaner, iron (and ironing board) and cooker. Also included are kitchen utensils, bed, desk, chair and wardrobe/closet. The flats are fully furnished, with bedding, towels and dishcloths. The journey from all flats/apartments takes between 10-40 minutes to the training centre and no more than 30 minutes to the centre of Prague.

OPTION B

Standard self-catering apartment with washing and ironing is separated room with your own bathroom and toilet in family house. The room is fully furnished with bedding, towel and dishcloth, TV, satellite and internet connection in room.  There is a kitchen place with microwave oven, refrigerator, kettle. From the school the city center is about 15 minutes away on the metro. The journey from apartment takes 10 minutes to training centre by walk, 5 minutes to metro station “Budějovická”.
